WXEL TV CHANNEL 42 PBS KIDS Martha SPEAKS.. ARF
The mission for children to learn and to have positive examples of character is SO crucial for us as a nation. And so woefully lacking in the media.
That is just one of the many reasons I LOVE WXEL TV Channel 42 – Public Broadcasting in Boynton Beach Florida .
Programming from Sesame Street to history- commercial free.
One of my favorite productions is PBS KIDS – with a major character being a charming loved shelter dog named Martha.
As a confirmed pet lover-I am a Martha Speaks fan; and the link that tells you how Martha learned to speak is below.
This link is charming for children of all ages – including me ( smile).
Martha shows children how to love animals and to be kind – a lesson we all can use.
PBS recently launched the first-ever PBS KIDS toy line of preschool toys designed to extend off-screen learning. This move into the toy aisle furthers PBS’ transmedia mission, reaching children across all platforms – on-air, online, on mobile devices in classrooms, and through creative play.
The toys are exclusively available online at a newly launched PBS KIDS Shop, PBSKIDSshop.com, until early fall, when they will become available at additional online and in-store retailers as well.
This link will tell you Martha’s Story how she learned to speak…-
Enjoy-and be assured your children – and you can watch WXEL TV 42 and be proud of Public Broadcasting
and don’t forget that this programming needs your support.
